Mr. Xuedu Lu, Member of Academic Committee, International Financial Forum. From July 2010 through April 2022, he took the positions of Advisor on Climate Change and Lead Climate Change Specialist, Asian Development Bank (ADB), providing advice and guidance on low carbon development, carbon market, climate finance, and low carbon technology, and processing and managing technical assistance projects and lending projects on addressing climate change. Prior to joining ADB, Dr. Lu took different positions in the Chinese government agencies, including Deputy Director General of National Climate Center, and Deputy Head of Global Environment Office, Ministry of Science and Technology. As a member of Chinese negotiation team, he was engaged in the negotiation and implementation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) during the period of 1996 to 2010. In addition, he was elected for four consecutive times as the member/alternative member of the Executive Board of Clean Development Mechanism of Kyoto Protocol under UNFCCC. He is serving as Research Fellow of University of International Business and Economics, and Northwest University.
