The Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Further Deepening Reform Comprehensively to Advance Chinese Modernization emphasizes the active development of technology finance, green finance, inclusive finance, pension finance, and digital finance. Technology finance is not only an important component of the national innovation system but also a key platform and tool for financial sector to better serve the real economy. Promoting the development of technology finance and facilitating the mutual empowerment of technology and finance is a vital strategic measure for achieving high-quality scientific and technological innovation. Against this backdrop, on April 13, 2025, with strong interest and support from the Hubei Provincial People's Government and the Wuhan Municipal People's Government, the International Finance Forum (IFF) established its Sci-tech Finance Committee in Wuhan, which has received widespread attention and recognition from all sectors of society.

The IFF 2nd Sci-tech Finance Dialogue Hubei-Hong Kong Cooperation & Integration will focus on strengthening exchanges in technology finance between Hubei and Hong Kong. It aims to help technology innovation enterprises in central China gain a deeper understanding of the legal, financial, and human resources frameworks of the Hong Kong market, as well as how to leverage Hong Kong as a springboard for international expansion. At the same time, the Dialogue will enable Mainland technology companies to better understand Hong Kong's capital markets and financial services, thereby creating more IPO opportunities on the Hong Kong stock exchange for enterprises from central China.
